Aerobuster System - Commercial Ordering Info

Important information for all commercial customers - Distributors, Dealers, Retailers,Image Wholesalers etc...

To allow the most flexibility with quantity, pricing and MOQ's, we have decided to sell our Alloy Aerobuster compatible frames with NO Seat Clamps.

That's right, the Trentino and Espresso are now available in just one frame type that is totally compatible with the Aerobuster system. For those who would prefer to stick with the 27.2mm, there is a low cost Round Post Converter available that is easy to use and completely interchangeable.

With this system, resellers can stock both the 27.2mm adaptor for customers on a budget AND the top quality Aerobuster Upgrade Kit that will turn their frame into a serious track weapon. The 27.2mm adaptor is compatible with the Trentino and the Espresso. The Aerobuster Upgrade Kit is compatible with four frames: the Trentino, the Espresso, the Modena and the Menaggio.  That's serious versatility for any vendor.

  • Retailers are recommended to purchase stock of the basic 27.2mm adaptor for the Trentino and Espressso as well as our Aerobuster System Upgrade Kit for upselling opportunities.
  • Distributors are encouraged to maintain stock accordingly for the Adaptor and the Upgrade Kit.
  • The 27.2mm adaptor will be packaged in simple, low-cost bags
  • The Aerobuster System Upgrade Kit will be packaged in quality retail packaging and is perfect for upselling with ALL AB compatible frames with the same packaging. The packaging should be finalized by late April.

The Modena and Menaggio frames will still come with their unique dedicated seat clamp for traditional use with "cut-to-measure" use.

NOTE: Our Seat Clamp has been undergoing some changes to allow for maximum compatibility, maximum strength and minimum weight. The design allows for sufficient surface contact to prevent slippage while maintaining aerodynamic shape without requiring any special cutting of the seat tube which could weaken the frame.

    Aerobuster System

What is the most important characteristic in a Track or Time Trial frame?

    Power Transfer

More important than featherweight equipment, aerodynamics and geometry, simply put, Power Transfer determines how much of the force from your legs becomes momentum.

Rigidity and strength are key factors here and every track racer knows their value. And this is a key reason why carbon composites are so attractive.

Serious riders will consider the rigidity of every element of their bicycle, starting from the shoes right on through the frame and fork and on through the wheels.

So it's little surprise that seasoned racers prefer to race on exotic carbon monocoque frames with the rigidity extending all the way up through an Integrated Seat Post (ISP).

However, this brings to light a major worry for anyone contemplating such a purchase. Sooner or later, that ISP is going to have to get cut. Horror stories get passed around the cycling club house about guys who fork out $$large$$ for a sweet custom frame only to realize that they cut it an inch too short. Frightening scenarios float through the mind about being the next guy that gets people whispering about a tragic miscalculation."What happens if I screw up the cut?"

    Enter the Aerobuster system.

Little short of the perfect solution for every track or TT rider, the Aerobuster system consists of four frames with infinite possibilities.

    Beer, Ale and Cider Rule.

Trade show days are brutal whether the show is in Taipei, Eurobike or Interbike. So having a stash of spirits, to lift your spirits at day’s end, helps make those long days manning a booth just a bit easier to swallow. But this is Taiwan and Taiwan beer is generally the de facto brew of choice. And it’s a fine brew. But not at the Pro-Lite booth. Tucked in a corner of its meeting room is a fridge stuffed with such alcoholic treats as Bellhaven Fruit Beer, a product of Dunbar, Scotland. Scottish Stout, another Dunbar concoction, and other choice items like Stanford Press, a cider, and the always hearty Abbot Ale. And for those who fear these fearsome choices, there’s a few cans of bland beer courtesy of Heineken. Plus some red wine.

    Taipei Cycle Show 2010

Taipei Show was marked with excitement all around, especially for those interested in Taiwan quality. Many in the industry are now realizing the benefits in sticking with their investments in Taiwan.

It seems that quality, experience and expertise are pretty important after all!

Benefits being reaped include more independence with production, more stable production quality, more stable labour supply and a superior logistics infrastructure. Of course, we at Pro-Lite have known this all along and all we can do is just smile knowingly while huge companies like Merida and Kenda are starting to come back to their roots and put millions of dollars into expanding manufacturing and bringing production back to the little green gem in the Pacific.

That is one of theJump over and read about it! primary reasons that Steve has put so much energy into working with other forward thinking people on TaiChung Bike Week. It's simply the best tool for manufacturers and their customers to get together and really stimulate doing real business in an intelligent way. It's the perfect complement to the Taipei Cycle Show.

As with many other companies, Pro-Lite had several other new product announcements. Most of these stem from our recent advances in Taking a bike for a spin around the booth.manufacturing, including our high pressure carbon forming machine which allow us not only complete independence and total control over manufacturing, timing and quality, but also higher strength to weight than possible with "regular" pressure carbon forming now standard through the industry.

That was the atmosphere at the show, but how was the atmosphere at the Pro-Lite Booth?

It was probably one of the most talked about booths, a result of our efforts to make an open, Leading figures in the industry chilling out and swapping ideas.friendly, cooperative and sharing environment. There were always people dropping by to visit from every end of the industry, from BMX to MTB DH, from Unicycles to parts and shipping magnates. Everyone was welcome and it was genuinely exciting to see ideas being exchanged  and discussed by people even from companies that are actually competitors.

And they even dropped by before the beer started flowing!

A notable comment was made byImage Bill Shook, one of the most respected wheel men in the industry, "If you make quality product, you have nothing to fear from competition." A great attitude from a great guy who makes great wheels.

By the time it was over, everyone was dog tired, but we all had a great time meeting old friends and making some new ones.
